Brief instructions on using publications in the Library

Seat reservation: hand over the membership card at the cloakroom, select the reading room and seat number.

Catalogue search: on computers, in the catalogues, on the Library’s website www.bms.rs, with the help reference librarian.

Ordering publications: When searching the electronic catalogue, it is necessary to select the desired publication, confirm the reservation (by clicking on the “make a reservation” option in the My Library service), after correctly entering the membership card number and password (which is generated during registration). If the publication cannot be ordered electronically, it is necessary to fill out the paper form where information about the publication is written (shelf number, author, title, place and year of publication, membership card number). The filled form is handed to the librarian at the user registration desk. The publications will be in the reading room after 60 minutes, the next day at the latest if they are in the external warehouse. If the publications are used for a longer period, the librarian in the reading room should be told to keep them. Publications are used exclusively in one of the seven reading rooms.
